SOURCES OF SUPPORT

The Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development gets support from:

UCSD was supported by MS Uganda- Danish Association for International Co-operation from 2000- 2008- is a Danish NGO working to promote understanding and solidarity between people and by co-operating across national and cultural boundaries to contribute to sustainable global development and a just distribution of the earth resources. MS vision: A world in peace where cooperation between people promotes global equity and ensures improved conditions for poor and marginalised. More about MS Uganda.

The Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation
UCSD gets support from the Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation, Sida, is a government agency under the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Sidas goal is to contribute to making it possible for poor people to improve their living conditions. Sida channels its resources through NGOs, multilateral cooperation, and the EU, among others and is interested in promoting the idea of “international development cooperation” to replace the one-sided giving indicated by the term “assistance.” More about Sida.

Membership and subscription Fee

Membership fee/ registration which is paid once in a year and subscription fee is paid annaually

Getting young people to understand climate change and involve themselves in environmental conservation activities

There are some important values that you have to inculcate, and develop first, before you can venture in the process of using these young people. Environmental conservation and climate change campaigns are not so interesting, not so paying and so may not interest a group of high school or University students unless you enhance the following values and principles among them.
