The Climate Action for Improved and Sustainable Livelihoods (CAISL) Project in Nebbi District (West Nile) is working towards promotion of sustainable local energy solutions and improved livelihoods for poor rural communities in Nebbi district with funding from Civil Society in Development (CISU) and Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy (NFRE) - Denmark. It has duration of 18 months (July 2023 – December 2024). The goal of the intervention is to make Nebbi a model district in climate mitigation measures, community resilience, and accessibility to local sustainable solutions and advocacy skills.
